Hurry before the Powerbook dies

I just finished editing my shots from the hockey game tonight, and transmitted them just in the nick of time. I left my PowerBook 17’s AC adapter in the media darkroom at the AT&T Center, so I had to haul ass to get all my editing done before the battery died.

I finished with 7% power left. Yikes.

Then I remembered I had a spare battery in my backpack, so I popped it in. It was at 43%, and now I’m scrambling to finish this post before that one dies. Anything to keep from working (or playing) on the StinkPad™ instead.

The San Antonio home opener was last night, and what a game it was. I watched our boys outlast the Redwings affiliate, Grand Rapids, to take it in overtime on an amazing goal by Tyson Nash. Final score was 5 – 4, in what was the best game I’ve seen in a while. The only thing it lacked was a good fight.

Tonight didn’t go as well. The Dallas Stars’ affiliate, Iowa, came in and put the screws to SA, and by the second period it was 4 – 1. SA rallied in the third, though, and tied it up at 4 all. Iowa was able to eek out one more, though, and won the game 5 – 4.

Oh well… Got a couple good shots of David LeNeveu in goal, though.

I got a lot more good action shots, but I haven’t webbed them yet, and this battery is about to die. Maybe I’ll post more later.
