Prepping for a long day

Big day tomorrow… I’m shooting the Alamo Bowl for WireImage, and then as soon as I’m finished transmitting my images to LA, I have to bolt over and try to catch the end of a wedding that I was supposed to shoot for a neighbor of mine.

I had agreed to do the gig for them, and then WI called about the Alamo Bowl, and I had to take it. So, I got a couple friends of mine to take the wedding for me, and promised that I would try to make it by the end of the reception.

I need to get to the studio in the morning with enough time to prep all my football gear, so I can’t stay up too late tonight. I shouldn’t have much to do, since I was shooting hockey tonight, and my gear is already packed in sport mode. I will just need to top off my batteries, find my knee pads, and clear enough room off my laptop so I will be able to dump all my cards during halftime.

Tonight’s hockey game actually went well for San Antonio, which is a rare occasion these days. They held the lead all three periods, and really played well. They’ve been playing a lot better since the addition of their two newest players, Chris Ferraro and Cam Paddock. One of them always seems to be near where the good stuff happens.
