Radio Free SA

Sidenote:

I’m not quite sure how I suddenly found myself in the world of internet radio, but apparently now there’s a weekly broadcast streaming live from my studio space. Who knew…

Radio Ventana is on the air, each Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. CST. You can listen to the stream at: http://igosa.com:8002/listen.pls

The first show was last Sunday, and was essentially a test broadcast. There is already a lot of content in place, with much more to come. This Sunday we will be featuring some live music and interviews with candidates running for local elections, as well as other guests. Right now, the stream is just looping the last show over and over. As we get more content in the can, there will be more to listen to round the clock.

Right now the show is audio-only, but we hope to be streaming video as well within the next two weeks. Now you can see how messy my studio really is.

Don’t worry, though, I’m a photographer, not a DJ. See?

I was having dinner with my friend Amanda, at Jim’s Coffee Shop, when suddenly I felt I was being watched. I looked down to see my new little friend, here. So I shot him.

  1. Oh, c’mon. You could be a dj. You could do a ‘how-to-use-a-camera’ show. BTW, thanks for the tips. Now I’m hooked on using a good camera (as opposed to my little piece of crap). I wish they grew on trees .

  2. There has been talk of that very thing; some kind of photography show. Idunno, we’ll see if that will happen…

BTW, there is such a thing as a camera tree, but there is only one, and it costs three thousand dollars to get in to pick from it.
